Imagine such a scene: On a weekend morning, you are ready to give the flowers, plants and trees a "refreshing shower" in the garden with an expandable garden hose, which you can reach every corner of the garden by gently stretching it. After use, it will automatically retract, being compact and easy to store without taking up space - This is the brand-new experience brought by expandable garden hose.
Normally, our basic expandable garden hose consists of an inner hose, a hose cover, two hose connectors and a water gun.
Inner hose: Usually made of highly elastic materials, such as TPE or natural latex. When open the water source, the inner hose will stretch under the pressure and expand up 3 times its original length. And after drainage, it will automatically contracts relying on its own elasticity. The whole process does not require manual winding, saving time and effort.
Hose Cover: Usually made of polyester ranging from 300D to 3300D, which is strong and wear-resistant, providing protection for the inner hose.
Hose Connectors: There are various types of connectors and materials (plastic and metal) . The common connectors we have done include hose quick connectors with 3/4” & 1/2” faucet adaptor, threaded connectors and threaded connectors with valves.
Water Gun: It depends on different usage scenarios, our regular nozzles of water gun include multi-spray modes in one, and bullet-shaped. And its common materials are plastic, plastic + rubber-coated, and metal.
Flexible and Convenient, Easy to Carry: Compared with traditional fixed hose, expandable garden hose can easily pass through flower beds, bypass tables and chairs, and even narrow corners can be reached with ease. It can meet the water needs of large courtyards.

Durable Outdoors: Apart from freezing, TPE expandable garden hose can work under -10℃ to 60 ℃. If not with strong drag strength, the scratch-resistant and wear-resistant hose cover can protect it from serious hurts when rubbed against stones, bricks and tiles.
Precise Irrigation and Water-Saving: The water gun can be adjusted to various modes such as mist, jet, center, cone, shower and etc. These modes are able to control the water flow precisely for watering different plants as well as save water.
More Applications: It can be used for gardening, car washing, pet cleaning, yard rinsing, even emergency draining.
Inner Hose Materials: It is suggested to consider eco-friendly materials. For example, TPE and natural latex are both recyclable. Natural latex is more expensive than TPE. In terms of cost performance, it is recommended to choose TPE.
Inner Hose Size: It includes hose diameter and length. Select the appropriate feet (25FT/50FT/75FT/100FT/125FT and more) based on the usage scenes. It is advised to reserve 20% of the expansion space. Correspondingly, the longer length, the higher price. As for the diameter, our regular TPE expandable garden hose is with inner diameter of 6mm and outer diameter of 9 or 9.5 or 10mm. The thicker outer diameter, the more cost.
Hose Cover: The common surface types of hose cover is with thin folds and thick folds. Normally, the bigger Denier, the more wear-resisting and durable hose cover , which the price is higher.
Hose Connectors: Check the hose connectors are in line with the faucet type or not. Hose quick connectors with the universal faucet connector and the 3/4” &1/2” faucet adaptor are recommended. And plastic hose cover is cheaper than metal’s.
Water Guns: When it comes to water guns, choose them based on your usage requirements. They are generally made of plastic or metal. Metal ones are more expensive than plastic ones.
Brand and Certification: Choose by SGS, FDA and other international certification of products, quality and after-sale are more secure.

Installation: First of all, check your faucet is thread or non-thread, and then check your hose is equipped with quick connector or thread connector.
Next, if the faucet is thread, attach it with the 1/2" & 3/4" faucet adaptor (its end is pacifier-shaped) or the hose thread connector. If the faucet is non-thread, attach it with the universal faucet adaptor (its end is also pacifier-shaped).
And then, if hose quick connectors, which need to be attached with the pacifier-shaped ends of faucet adaptors and water guns. If hose thread connectors, attach them with thread faucet and water guns without pacifier-shaped end.
Daily Maintenance: Please take care of the hose and reduce excessive extensions. Regular clean the hose to avoid block when use. Drain out the water and store it in the dry and ventilated place to prevent the sunlight and freeze in the summer and winter.
With the development of technology, expandable garden hoses are also constantly being upgraded. The intelligent product integrates an electronic flowmeter to display the water consumption in different time. It can be paired with a mobile phone APP to remotely control the ON/OFF and regularly remind. Even solar-powered self-driven water hoses have emerged, which can automatically expand and contract without an external power supply.
